Neil Macdonald Maclean (1890-1945) was a son of Neil Maclean and Margaret Macritchie, 33 Gravir.
He served in the Highland Light Infantry in the First World War and was severely wounded in his hand. Neil is mentioned in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918.
In Maryhill, Glasgow, in 1930, he married Kennethina Macritchie, 9 Gravir. Neil and Kennethina settled at 33 Gravir and they had four children.
The family moved to 7 Glenside, Gravir around 1938.
