Donald born c1789 was a son of Angus, a tenant in Kirkibost. He was married to Ann nee Morrison and lived at Barraglom with issue. In 1850 Donald was a witness for the defender at the second hearing of the Lewis and Harris boundary dispute.

The family emigrated to Hampden, Quebec in 1855.
