887: Alexander Morrison
Alexander Morrison (1796-1873) was a son of John Morrison and Ann Macarthur, Orinsay.
In Lochs, in 1822, he married Christina Morrison. Alexander and Christina settled at 12 Old Orinsay and they had a daughter, Isabella in 1824.
Alexander was widowed and remarried to Catherine Gillies, 5 Old Orinsay in 1830. Alexander and Catherine had four children.
Orinsay was cleared in 1843 and the family moved to 22 Leurbost.
