Evander (1831-1908) was a son of Duncan Macleod and Ann Matheson, 22 Old Gravir. In the 1852 lotting the family obtained 37 Gravir.
At Stornoway, in 1865, he married Annabella Nicolson, 21 Lemreway. Evander and Annabella settled at 37 Gravir and they had nine children.
