90757: Allan Macdonald
Allan (1848-1900) was the son of William Macdonald and Margaret Maclennan; the family were cottars in Old South Tolsta.
In 1851, during the croft lottings, the family obtained 1 North Tolsta.
He married Christina Maclean, of 4 Portnaguran, and moved to 67a North Tolsta. The couple had seven children: five girls and two boys. In due course 67a North Tolsta passed to their eldest daughter: Ann Kate.
