90769: John Macdonald

John (1886-1948) was the son of John Macdonald and Mary Maclennan, of 1 North Tolsta. 

He was married twice and lived at 1 North Tolsta through both marriages. He was first married to Jessie Macdonald, of 16 North Tolsta, and then Annie Macdonald, 51 North Tolsta. He had no children with Jessie but had one son with Annie.

During the First World War he served with the Royal Naval reserves and was interned in Holland. More information about Tolsta men interned in Holland can be found at the North Tolsta Historical Society website.
