90846: Catherine Mackenzie
Catherine (1829-1908) was the daughter of Murdo Mackenzie and Isabella Macleod, 28 Old South Tolsta.
Catherine married Donald Murray, 13 Old South Tolsta. It is not known where the couple initially settled, or where they had their first child, Norman, born in 1849.
The family obtained 4a North Tolsta, in 1851, and had a second child: Bell.
In 1853 the couple and children emigrated to Whitton Township in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. After emigrating they had a further seven children, making a total of nine: five girls and four boys.
