Effie (1844-1912) was the daughter of Donald Macleod and Mary Stewart. The address at the time of her birth is not known. In 1851 the family moved to 4 North Tolsta.
Effie married widower Donald Murray of 61 North Tolsta and settled with him there. The couple had one child together; Effie had nine step children.
