91023: Donald Morrison
Donald (1793-1875) was the son of Murdo Morrison; it is not clear where the family were living at the time of his birth. His grandfather lived in Ness at some point.
Donald married Mary Macleod of Galson and the couple had their first four children at an address which is not known.
Donald’s grandfather, John Morrison, obtained 11 Old South Tolsta in 1830. 11 Old South Tolsta passed to Donald.
Donald and Mary had a further two children while at 11 Old South Tolsta.
In 1842 Donald lost the croft but stayed on as a cottar in Old South Tolsta.
In 1851 during the croft relottings Donald obtained 5 North Tolsta
