91024: Mary Macleod
Mary (1793-1874) was the daughter of Norman Macleod of Galson.
Mary married Donald Morrison and the couple had their first four children at an address which is not known. In 1830 Donald’s grandfather obtained 11 Old South Tolsta and this passed to Donald in due course.
Mary and Donald had a further two children at 11 Old South Tolsta. In 1842 Donald lost the croft and the family became cottars in Old South Tolsta, it is not certain if this was at 11 Old South Tolsta though.
In the 1851 croft relottings Donald obtained 5 North Tolsta and the family settled there.
