Catherine Macdonald (1841-1881) was the daughter of Donald Macdonald and Isabella Maciver of 1 Old North Tolsta. The family moved to 6 Old North Tolsta in 1842, and to 37 North Tolsta in the croft relottings of 1853.
Catherine married Murdo Morrison of 5 North Tolsta and settled with him there. The couple had seven children.
