91083: Ann Maciver

Ann Maciver lived at 9 Lower Barvas, but it is not certain she was born there.

In 1866 she married John Macleod, of 6 North Tolsta, but it is not known where they spent the first few years of their married life.

In the early 1870s they emigrated to Bruce County Ontario. She died in Canada; her widower wrote a poem for her entitled ‘Mo Bhean’ (My Wife) and later returned to North Tolsta.
