Margaret (1855-1937) was the daughter of Norman Maclean and Catherine Mackay; it is not clear where the family were living at the time of her birth. Her father was from North Bragar and her mother from 14 Borve.

In 1857 the family obtained 63 North Tolsta.

She married Murdo Macinnes of 6 North Tolsta and lived with him as a cottar on 63 North Tolsta. Later the couple moved to 2 Hill Street, North Tolsta.

It is not clear at which address Margaret's children were born. In total she had nine children: five girls and four boys.
