91170: Alexander Campbell
Alexander (1833-1907) was the son of John Campbell and Mary Macdonald of 17 Old South Tolsta.
The family moved to 17/18 North Tolsta in the 1851 croft relottings.
In 1853 Alexander’s father lost the croft and the family became cottars on 2a North Tolsta.
On the 5th October 1857 Alexander married Annabella Maciver of 26 North Tolsta. The couple settled as cottars at 26 North Tolsta and five children there.
In 1872 they obtained 7 North Tolsta and had their last three children there.
In due course 7 North Tolsta passed to their son Angus.
