91181: John Campbell
John (1872-1949) was the son of Alexander Campbell and Annabella Maciver of 7 North Tolsta.
He joined the Seafoth Militia and served, on garrison duty, in Cairo during the Boer War.
John married Gormelia Murray of 19b North Tolsta and settled there with her. They had six children.
During the First World War he served with the Labour Corps and was invalided in 1915.
John inherited 19a North Tolsta and passed both crofts on to his son John Campbell.
