Alexander (1905-1978) was the son of Angus Campbell and Catherine Macinnes of 7 North Tolsta.

Alexander married Margaret Mackenzie of 73 North Tolsta; the couple settled at 7 Lochside and had three children: all girls.

Alexander was widowed in 1974.

After his death 7 Lochside passed to his eldest daughter.
