Catherine (1902-1995) was the daughter of John Macdonald and Ann Martin of 12 North Tolsta.

Catherine married Donald Macleod of Aignish and the couple settled at 7 Aignish; they had no family. After her husband died and his brother inherited his family home, she returned to North Tolsta to live with her sister Joan at Fernlea.
