Angus (1832-1893) was the son of Murdo Campbell and Catherine Macdonald of 4 Old South Tolsta.
The family moved to 9 Old South Tolsta in 1843.
In the 1851 croft relottings the family obtained 24 North Tolsta.
In 1853 the whole family emigrated to Canada, except for Angus and his brother Allan. It is not certain if Angus was married at this point or if he stayed with his brother at 8 North Tolsta for a while.
Angus married Gormelia Macleod of 13 North Tolsta and settled there with her as cottars. They had four children: three girls and a boy.
In 1871 on the death of Torquil Macleod (Gormelia's father) 13 North Tolsta was divided, with 13b North Tolsta passing to Angus.
In due course 13b North Tolsta passed to their son Murdo.
