Christina (1843-1934) was the daughter of John Gunn and Anne Martin, of 10 Old North Tolsta.

In 1853, when Old North Tolsta was decrofted to make Tolsta Farm, the family obtained 43 North Tolsta from Christina's maternal grandparents.

Christina married Murdo Maciver, of 14 North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 43 North Tolsta. They had six children: four boys and two girls. At some point 43 North Tolsta was passed to Murdo by Christina's parents.

In due course 43 North Tolsta passed to their youngest son: Evander.
