91663: Angus Norman Mackay

Angus Norman (1928-1977) was the son of Donald Mackay and Ann Mackenzie of 16 North Tolsta.

On Monday the 7th of November 1941 he discovered the body of Patrick King on the shore. Patrick, of Greenock, was a soldier in the Royal Artillery and it is thought he may have been on a large raft that came ashore, on Tolsta Rocks, the previous evening. The incident was reported in the Stornoway Gazettes District News.
