Mary (born 1849) was the daughter of John Campbell and Christina Stewart of 17 Old South Tolsta. The family moved to 17/18 North Tolsta in 1851 when the crofts were relotted. In 1853 they were evicted from 17/18 and became cottars on 2a North Tolsta, which was the croft of Mary's stepbrother Donald. 

Mary married Angus Maciver of 33 North Tolsta and the couple settled there as cottars and had eight children.
