91705: Angus Maciver
Angus (1846-1901) was the son of Angus Maciver and Margaret Murray; the family were cottars at 22 Old South Tolsta.
In 1851, during the croft relottings, the family obtained 33 North Tolsta.
Angus married Mary Campbell, of 17/18 North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 33 North Tolsta as cottars. They had eight children: four boys and four girls. Four of these children died young.
Their youngest son, Angus, was killed in World War One.
In due course the cottars house at 33 North Tolsta passed to their youngest daughter, Joan, it was feued off from 33 North Tolsta and renamed 33 School Road, North Tolsta by this time.
