91745: Christina Smith

Christina (1847-1946) was the daughter of Kenneth Smith and Catherine Morrison; it is not certain where the family were living at the time of her birth; her paternal grandparents lived at 12 Old South Tolsta and her maternal grandparents were living in Marvig at the time of her birth, so they may have been cottars at one of these addresses.

In 1851 the family obtained 55 North Tolsta.

Christina married Murdo Maciver, of 18 North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 18 North Tolsta and had seven children: five girls and two boys.

In due course 18 North Tolsta passed to their son Murdo.
