91773: Mary Macdonald
Mary (1829-1916) was the daughter of Norman Macdonald and Ann Campbell of Old South Tolsta Tack.
After the 1830 croft lottings the family probably lived with relatives either at 18 Old South Tolsta or as cottars in Old South Tolsta.
In 1851, during the croft relottings, Mary’s parents probably moved to 19 North Tolsta with her maternal grandparents; at some point 19 North Tolsta passed to her father.
Mary married Donald Macinnes, of 1 Glen Tolsta, and the couple settled at 1 Glen Tolsta and had the first of their four children in 1861. 1 Glen Tolsta passed to Mary’s husband.
In due course 1 Glen Tolsta passed to their son, Norman.
