She inherited 2 Coll from her aunt: Jane Macleod.
She married Hugh Macleod, of 20 North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 2 Coll prior to Mary inheriting 32 Upper Coll, Back. They had a daughter and a son.In due course both 32 Coll and 2 Coll passed to their son. 2 Coll was later sold to a local man.
