Mary (born 1923) was the daughter of Angus Macleod and Bess Macmillan; the family were cottars at 20 North Tolsta.

Mary had one son who stayed living with her parents.

Mary married Murdo Maciver, of 5 Tong Park, Tong, and the couple settled at 6 Bennadrove, Marybank, Stornoway.
