Ann (1838-1912) was the daughter of Donald Maciver and margaret Smith, of 21 Old South Tolsta.

In 1851, during the croft relottings, the family obtained 23 North Tolsta.

Ann married Murdo Macdonald, of 38 North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 23 North Tolsta. Their first child was born in 1867 and their last in 1880, in total they had seven children: four boys and three girls.

23 North Tolsta passed from Ann's parents to her husband.

In due course 23 North Tolsta passed to their son Roderick.
