92011: Margaret Maciver

Margaret (1869-1956) was the daughter of Donald Maciver and Anne Smith, of 32 North Tolsta.

Margaret married Murdo Macdonald, of 23 North Tolsta, and the couple settled as cottars at 32b North Tolsta. They had four sons.

Margaret was widowed in 1904.

Margaret’s eldest son, Donald, was discharged from the Seaforth Highlanders with a contracted illness, in October 1914. Donald died of Pneumonia in November 1918.

32b North Tolsta passed to their son Murdo, as 32b School Road, and from him to his brother John.
