92067: Isabella Campbell

Isabella (1844-1887) was the daughter of Donald Campbell and Lily Maciver of 14 Old North Tolsta.

In 1854, after Old North Tolsta had been cleared to make way for Tolsta Farm, the family obtained 47 North Tolsta as a newly lotted croft.

Isabella married Angus Smith, of 24 North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 47 North Tolsta. They had four children: two boys and two girls.

In 1875 their eldest son died in infancy.

In 1886 their youngest daughter died in infancy.

Isabella died while her children were still young; her widower went on to marry again but had no further children. In 1902 her youngest son died in his early teens.
