92072: Donald Macdonald
Donald (1846-1914) was the son of Donald Macdonald and Isabella Maciver, of 6 Old North Tolsta.
In 1853, when Old North Tolsta was decrofted to created Tolsta Farm, the family moved to 37 North Tolsta.
Donald married Isabella Murray, of 24 North Tolsta, and the couple settled as cottars at 37 North Tolsta.
Donald’s father died in 1871.
In 1873, the family emigrated to Lake Megantic, Canada, along with his widowed mother and five of his seven siblings.
Once settled at Lake Megantic the couple had nine children: six girls and three boys.
