92105: Isabella Macleod
Isabella (1872-1937) was the daughter of Kenneth Macleod and Mary Macdonald of 56 North Tolsta.
Isabella married Donald Smith, of 24 North Tolsta, and the couple initially settled, as cottars, at 11 North Tolsta.
At some point they settled, as cottars, on Isabella’s father’s croft. It is not certain at which of these addresses their children were born; they had eleven children: six boys and five girls.
In 1922 the family moved to 11 New Tolsta.
In due course 11 New Tolsta passed to their son Donald.
Isabella was widowed in 1931.
