Donald (1836-1910) was a son of John Nicolson and Annie Macleod of 26 North Tolsta.
In 1853 the family emigrated to Canada and settled at Winslow, Quebec.
Donald married Isabella Murray of Whitton, Quebec and formerly of 28/29 South Dell. The couple had eleven children.
Donald and Isabella are buried at Dell Cemetery, Eastern Townships of Quebec.
