92193: Isabella Campbell

Isabella (1842-1889) was the daughter of John Campbell and Jessie Macleod of 21 Old North Tolsta.

In 1851, during the croft relottings, the family obtained 54 North Tolsta.

Isabella married Murdo Maciver, of 26 North Tolsta.

In 1869 the couple obtained 69 North Tolsta, as a newly lotted croft and settled there. Their first child was born the same year. The couple went on to have a further eight children, all of whom were born at 69 North Tolsta.

Their daughter, Ann, and her husband became cottars at 69 North Tolsta before moving to 33 Gress.

In due course 69 North Tolsta passed to their son: John.
