92197: Catherine Maciver
Catherine (1843-1899) was the daughter of Donald Maciver and Margaret Maciver, of 20 Old North Tolsta.
In 1853 the family obtained 26 North Tolsta, after the previous occupants emigrated to Whitton, Quebec.
Catherine married Donald Mackenzie, of 48 North Tolsta. The couple settled as cottars at 26 North Tolsta and had their first six children there.
In 1874 the family obtained 73 North Tolsta, as a newly lotted croft. The couple had a further five children there. In total they had eleven children: five girls and six boys.
In due course 73 North Tolsta passed to their son Donald.
