92198: Donald Mackenzie
Donald (1835-1922) was the son of Donald Mackenzie and Margaret Macdonald, of 12 Old North Tolsta.
In 1851, during the croft relottings, the family obtained 48 North Tolsta.
Donald married Catherine Maciver, of 26 North Tolsta, and the couple settled, as cottars, at 26 North Tolsta. They had their first six children there.
In 1874 the family obtained 73 North Tolsta, as a newly lotted croft. The couple had a further five children there. In total they had eleven children: five girls and six boys.
Donald was widowed in 1899.
In due course 73 North Tolsta passed to their son Donald.
