9223: John Thompson

John Thompson (1886-1981) of 18 Aird, Tong, was the Lewis gun instructor for the 1st Canadian Reserve Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. He married Malcolmina Smith of Seaview, Keose, in December 1918, and emigrated with her to Vancouver, Canada in 1919.
