92241: Christine Murray

Christine (born 1864) was the daughter of Donald Murray and Christina Macdonald, of 27 North Tolsta.

In 1874 two of Christine’s brothers died, from fever, and a further brother died in 1876, also from fever. Her oldest 2 brothers had also died

In 1884 the family emigrated to Marston, Quebec.

Christine married twice: her first marriage was to Donald Mackay, of Quebec but with connections to Valtos.

Christine’s second marriage was to William Macleod, of Quebec but with connections to Lower Barvas.

In 1895 Christine’s 19 year-old sister Kenina died tragically in Massachusetts.
