92256: Margaret Maciver

Margaret (born 1879) was the daughter of Evander Maciver and Ann Maciver, of 72 North Tolsta.

Margaret married widower John Murray, of 27 North Tolsta. We don’t have an exact date for the marriage but John’s first wife died in 1926. Margaret settled with him in the cottars house at 27 North Tolsta; the couple had no children together.

Latterly, she lived with her widowed sister Isabel at Burnside, North Tolsta (now demolished) which shows in the Croft History as Cottar on Croft #41.
