Donald Macdonald

Donald (1897-1918) was the son of Murdo Macdonald and Margaret Maciver, the family were cottars at 32b North Tolsta.

Donald served, as a Private, with the Seaforth Highlanders during World War One. He was discharged, in October 1914, due to a contracted illness.

Donald died of pneumonia, at home, on the 24th November 1918. More information is available at the North Tolsta Historic Society, World War One website.

Donald never married.
