92581: Catherine Macleod

Catherine (born 1921) was the daughter of Murdo Macleod and Annie Macdonald, of 34 North Tolsta.

Catherine married Arthur Bates, of Stornoway and Stoke-on-Trent, and the couple settled in England. They had one son. Cathie and Arthur returned to Stornoway in the 1970s, establishing a business called China and Glass, running it initially from the old family barn.
