92641: Mr Macaskill

Mr Macaskill of 3 Kirvick married Christina Maclennan of 35 North Tolsta.

The couple emigrated to the United States of America, along with Christina’s daughter Anne; they settled in Detroit. Mr Macaskill and Christina had a son who joined the American Marines and was killed during the Korean War. This son was posthumously awarded the Distinguished Service medal for gallantry; the medal was pinned on his nine-month old daughter by a United States general.
