Isabella (1812-1910) was the daughter of Donald Maciver and Catherine Maciver, the place of her birth is not known. Her father was originally from Gress, nothing is known of her mother's origins.
In 1832 the family obtained 20 Old North Tolsta.
Isabella married Donald Macdonald of 1 Old North Tolsta and settled there with him, they had their first four children there.
In 1841, her father emigrated with many of her siblings to the Eastern Townships of Quebec.
In 1842 the family obtained 6 Old North Tolsta and had a further three children there.
In 1853 they moved to 37 North Tolsta, where they had their final child. Two of the couple's sons became cottars at 37 North Tolsta, both were called Donald.
Isabella was widowed in 1871 and emigrated, with all of her children except Murdo and Catherine, to Lake Megantic, Quebec in 1883. Several of Isabella's siblings were living near Lake Megantic by this time.
37 North Tolsta passed to Kenneth Murray.
