92803: Isabella Murray

Isabella (born 1868) was the daughter of Murdo Murray and Henrietta Mackenzie. It is not certain where the family were living at the time of her birth; her paternal grandparents were at 7 North Tolsta and her maternal grandparents were at 39 North Tolsta.

By 1873, both of Isabella’s maternal grandparents had died and 39 North Tolsta had passed to her father.

In 1875 Isabella’s mother died and the family emigrated to the Eastern townships of Quebec.

Once in Quebec Isabella’s father married Catherine Maclean and the couple had seven children.

Isabella married William Ridgway; William had family connections to Tolsta but it is not certain he ever lived there himself.
