92952: Norman Mackay
Norman (1822-1898) was the son of Donald Mackay and Christina Macleod. It is not certain where the family were living at the time of his birth; his father was originally from Galson and his mother from Upper Barvas. There is no record of them being sub-tenants in Old South Tolsta Tack in 1820.
In 1830, during the croft lottings, the family obtained 2 Old South Tolsta.
In 1851, during the croft relottings, the family obtained 42 North Tolsta. It is not certain if he was still living in the parental home at this time.
Norman never married.
