92961: Christina Mackay

Christina (born 1896) was the daughter Murdo Mackay and Catherine Graham. It is not certain where the family were living at the time of Christina’s birth.

In 1917, after the death of Mary Mackay, the family obtained 42 North Tolsta. However, the family may have been living there as cottars, and helping Mary maintain the croft, prior to obtaining the croft themselves.  

Christina married John Macmillan, of 3/4 Glen Tolsta, and settled with him at Eastview, 4a Lochside, North Tolsta. The couple had five children: three girls and two boys.

In due course Eastview, 4a Lochside passed to John Murdo Mackay.
