92964: Catherine Murray

Catherine (1900-1976) was the daughter of Evander Murray and Margaret Macleod, of 45a North Tolsta.

In 1914 Catherine’s mother died. Her father eventually married Margaret Morrison, but this marriage did not produce any half siblings for Catherine.

Catherine married Norman Mackay, of 42 North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 45a North Tolsta. They had seven children: three girls and four boys.

In due course 45a North Tolsta passed to their grandson but the house has now been demolished.
