93139: Murdo Campbell
Murdo (1831-1875) was the son of Donald Campbell and Lily Maciver of 14 Old North Tolsta.
In 1854, after Old North Tolsta was cleared to make way for Tolsta Farm, the family obtained, newly lotted croft, 47 North Tolsta. However, it is not certain Murdo was still living in the parental home at this time.
Murdo obtained 12 Coll from his uncle-in-law John Beaton.
Murdo married Jessie Morrison and the couple had two children. In due course 12 Coll passed to their eldest son: John.
