93214: Malcolm Macdonald

Malcolm (1826-1911) was the son of Malcolm Macdonald of 5 Skigersta.

Malcolm married Christina Maclennan, of 49 North Tolsta, and the couple settled, as cottars, at 49 North Tolsta. They had their first two children: John and Angus, before Christina’s mother lost the croft, in 1863, and a third child, Murdo, that same year: so the place of his birth is unclear.

The family then settled at 5 Skigersta, and a further nine children were born there: Annie, Malcolm, Alexander, Annie, Catherine, Annie, Jane, John and Catherine.
