93224: Norman Murray
Norman (1870-1939) was the son of Allan Murray and Annabella Mackenzie of 49 North Tolsta.
Norman married Christina Mackenzie, of 73 North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 49a North Tolsta: a feued off section of 49 North Tolsta. They had seven children: five girls and two boys.
In 1900 their eldest son, Angus, died in infancy.
In 1907 their daughter, Murdina, died in infancy.
During the First World War Murdo served with the Royal Navy.
In due course 49a North Tolsta passed to his youngest daughter: Jean.
