93450: Margaret Murray

Margaret (born 1875) was the daughter of Donald Murray and Isabella Maciver of 61 North Tolsta.

Her mother died in 1880 and her father went on to marry Effie Macleod. Her half brother died in infancy in 1885.

Margaret married John Macleod, of 56 North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 56 North Tolsta which John had inherited. They had four children: three boys and a girl.

Margaret was widowed, in 1916, when John was killed during the Battle of Jutland.

In due course 56 North Tolsta passed to their eldest son: John.
